Why am I getting a "Check this Entry" error for Form 1099-NEC Worksheet regarding Schedule C when I have completed everything?
We every year receive only Form 1099-MISC. We never get Form 1099-NEC. But when we do our smart check we get an error i.e :
Form 1099-NEC
Non employee Compensation Work Sheet.

Why am I getting a "Check this Entry" error for Form 1099-NEC Worksheet regarding Schedule C when I have completed everything?
This year Form 1099-NEC replaced Form 1099-MISC box 7 non-employee compensation used previously. If you have previously received Form 1099-MISC with box 7 checked for non-employee compensation, you may need form 1099-NEC to properly report this income this year.
