I had the same problem. I had input zeros in all the Additions/Subtractions Stmt (225): Sch B Part 2 Code boxes thinking they wanted a monetary value but they really wanted a code from the IT-225 form which you can only access from online (Turbo doesn't have it built into their program, apparently). You'll have to Google IT-225 to see what it looks like. However, as none of the codes applied to me, I had to erase all the zeros I had input and just leave those boxes blank. Go through the Additions/Subtractions section again from the beginning and make sure the questions are all blank (unless they apply to you in some way), then go through the Turbo Final Check routine again and make sure those boxes are all blank and the program should clear out the errors.
Even after deleting all of the "0" and leaving the slots blank, I continued to get the error. I ending up contacting TT for assistance. I was told to go on the left side of the screen where it says "state return" ( I believe) then there's a drop box with all parts you filled out, go there and delete the IT-225 form. That solved the problem for me!
What is stmt(225)Sch A Part2 Code
Can the codes be published on the support page, so we can pick appropriate codes?
Example: Form IT-225: Sch B Part 2 code - what is it?
Can someone please break down the code sch part a code what to put none of it applies to me but I can’t file without fixing it
I’m not seeing that can you explain in better detail
You have entered income information regarding a partner, beneficiary, or shareholder distribution. This income is subtracted from your NYS income but a modification must be entered to claim this subtraction. Please select this link and scroll down to modification codes. Most all will have a S-XXX type of a code except if you are reporting a beneficiary distribution and that will be a ES-XXX.
If none of the modification codes apply to you what do you enter? Leaving it blank is not an option, and, so far as I can see, I have no applicable code. How do I continue so I can file my taxes?
I ran into the same problem. I started my state return from the beginning and when I encountered fields/boxes that were prefilled with dimmed out "0." (zero dot) I cleared (deleted the prefill) the box and hit continue and I didn't get the questions at the end.
