Turbo Tax thinks I own a business because I filled out a 1099 MISC for a lawsuit settlement. Now I can't answer CA state questions about my business name, etc and file

Box 7 1099-MIsc is entered on Schedule C. Some lawsuit settlements are taxable, some are not. While you may not have a business, you are treated as having one for the purposes of this income. Use you own name, address and social security number for the business information.
