TT Business - Enter Salary and Wages

See photo of this page attached. I can't remember if you just enter box 1 of the W2? Or do you add box 12 code D (401k contributions) for total W2 wages? If you are both an officer >2% and shareholder >2%, does it matter which box you enter it in?

TT Business - Enter Salary and Wages

Yes, enter the amount from Form W-2 Box 1 for Salaries and wages paid. Other benefits are entered under separate expense topics for your business. 401K contributions, for example, are entered under Retirement Plan Contributions.

If the employee is an officer and a shareholder, enter the B0x 1 wages in the Officers (>2% owners) box. The Shareholders (>2% owners) box is used for other shareholders who are not officers.
