How do you report the tips received by the owner - single member LLC. Do I need to issue 1099 NEC for the tips received by the owner?

Who received the tips? Who would you be issuing a 1099NEC to?
Are you the owner who is receiving tips, or are you paying tips to someone else?
If you receive tips, they are just additional business income for you. You enter the tips as income that was not reported on a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC. You do not need a 1099-NEC for tips that you receive.
If you are paying a contractor who performs services for your business, and you give the contractor a tip, the tip is just an additional payment to the contractor. You include it in the total amount on the 1099-NEC that you issue to the contractor.
I am the owner receiving tips. I don't have employees.
"You do not need a 1099-NEC for tips that you receive." - Should I just add the tips as part of the gross income? And I don't need to generate 1099 NEC to issue to my self, correct?
Greatly appreciate your help.
Correct. No 1099NEC is needed.
Thank you!
Thank you!
