section 179 carryover

Hi,

I've used TT computer version for years.  Why doesnt it carryover data from last year into the current year?

For instance, I'm working on a rental and it is asking me for "any section 179 expense deducation that was disallowd in 2021"?   Why doesnt this carryover from last year?

That amount should carry over automatically from your return in the previous year. It should show on line 10 of your Form 4562 Depreciation and Amortization.  If not, you can find the amount on line 13 of your previous year Form 4562.
