Schedule D will be created once you enter in your investment sales information. Did you receive a Form 1099-B for sale of investments and did you already enter this information in? Did you sell some other type of property and put that information in? If you did, then print out your return and see that the Schedule D is in there. The program is designed to create forms based on your input, it cannot know which forms you will need prior to your inputs and therefore cannot prompt you to include any specific form in a return. Also, if you are inside your account, and you have already entered in your information-- you can click on the My Account link, and then on the Tools link, and finally on Delete a Form and you can see the names of the forms in your return.
