Schedule D has to be filed with my return. I haven't been informed or prompted for information for schedule D. Why is that so?

Schedule D has to be filed with my return. I haven't been informed or prompted for information for schedule D. Why is that so?  

If it is being filed, how can I review that information before filing my return?
