I just purchased Turbo Tax home and business and as I'm going thru it, it appears that I need just Business.  Can I get a refund for purchasing the wrong one, or is there a way to upgrade?

No you can't upgrade to the separate Business program.  You can get a refund and then buy Business.  Or won't you still need a personal program?

If you also require a personal tax return then you will need the Home & Business edition you have already purchased.  The TurboTax Business Edition cannot complete a personal tax return.

Or you can request a refund of the software you have already purchased and order a lower priced desktop edition for your personal tax return.
