Road repair

I live on land and lease part of it for grazing and hay production. There is only one road from county road on the property which I maintain. How do I calculate the maintenance cost for the lease. I had to top the road in 2024 for $7900.

Road repair

You can use any reasonable method to determine how much to deduct.  If the road is only used by the lessors, you should be good deducting all of it; however, if you use the road to access your property as well use a percentage.
