Reasonable salary question for multi job scenario

I live in NJ working and have a software consulting  scorp firm . I am the owner / employee .
median salary in NJ for Software developer job is around 70k to 80k

I am planning to do 3 jobs in parallel that pays around 150k each . Total gross :450k

question : is it enough to pay myself 80k salary or 80k  times 3 =240k salary

That is over 50% which is good. Generally 40% is sufficient and if you have expenses to reduce the actual profit, $240,000 might be almost 60% of the profit.

there is no right answer.

the 80K is a median number. which probably is not representative of what they would earn if working on their own.  even the high end of the range may not be sufficient in your case.

IF you are audited and you performed all the services the IRS could argue that a reasonable salary is 80% of the net income from performing these services. you should consult with a tax pro who could give better guidance.

Thank you. How can big consulting  companies charge 300/ hour from clients for a resource they provide but they only pay 200k salary the percentage here is so on the lower side . Isn’t it

we see this regularly in our daily lives

300*2000hrs * 8Hrweek = 4800000
