I have the same problem with E*Trade. It doesn't import this year. Can you help on that?
You should have received a 1099 from the bank. Why don't you manually enter the info?
It is less error-pruned and easier for non-expert to get it imported
I spent more than 4 hours today because I couldn’t download tax data from Fidelity. Had screen sharing with turbo tax and phone with Fidelity at the same time. According to Fidelity this is a known issue and other than using the turbo tax from within the Fidelity website there is no option. I am extremely unhappy as TurboTax makes it very hard to get phone support and they should have fixed this issue by now. Other than returning the software I see no option. I am short on time as traveling and want to get it done.
I received a message today 3/4 that my Morgan Stanley info won't be transferable until 03/14. Is BofA ready to do transfers?
Yes, and I could manually fill out all of my tax forms as well, but this is 2022 and not 2000! I purchased a product to make filing my taxes a simpler process. I spent 4 hours "debugging" the import process from JP Morgan Chase to determine that it was my mortgage 1098 causing the issue. I did each form one at a time to determine the issue, each time going thru the process of breaking the link between Chase & TT for all other forms. With the number of TT users I see in this community reporting the same issue, I should be the responsibility of TT to debug & fix issues. BTW, I work in software development, and devekio/support products that interface to/from financial institutions. We would not think to tell our customers "too bad, you will have to do it manually".
I need to fill out and attach my 1095 to my return.
i have the exact same error message every time i tried to connect to chase and import forms. and turbotax 2022 crashed all the times. i have been using turbo tax for many years and it worked all fine in the past. need a solution here (i mean other than manual inputs).
it works for me now. thanks
I am having the same problem with Charles Schwab. I have contacted TurboTax at least 3 times and spent countless hours on the phone and sharing my screen. Nothing is getting done.
While on the download screen I accidentally clicked somewhere on the screen ant suddenly the text widow disappeared and I was able to login and download from Fidelity. I did it twice that way. Try it.
I also am having the same exact problem but when importing stock transactions from Charles Schwab. After going through the steps to import transactions I can see the connection between TurboTax and Schwab. Then there is a message that says "Success. We got your Tax Data. You can now return to TurboTax". Next there is a pop up windows that says "Do you want to allow this page to open "Turbotax 2022 App? I can then click on "Cancel" or "Allow". I click on "Allow" and the next thing message I see I am back in TurboTax and the Message says "Import Unsuccessful". No one from TurboTax has been able to solve this problem. This is really aggravating.
All I can say is that this problem has gone on for 2 months. This obviously is not a priority to Intuit. Again, another year I wasted my money buying junk software that will not import my tax information available from my FI. I am tired of the emails about this, as I initiated this transcript in early February after being frustrated and lied to that this would be fixed. I am unsubscribing after this reply!
I ran into a similar ERROR trying to import my 2021 tax return on my computer to 2022 TurboTax Premier. I entered info by hand and lost entered info when I tried, one more time, to upload my TT 2021 tax.
Now I'm questioning other errors.
