I have no idea why turbotax insists I need a Schedule E Worksheet. Turbotax has gone crazy.

I do not need to do a state tax in Texas but Turbotax is insisting. Please someone tell me what's wrong.

The schedule E worksheet might be because you had some K-1 form entries. 

You are correct, Texas has no individual income tax requirement, so you don't need to complete a state income tax return. There may be an intangible tax required for owners of real estate, that may be what the program is referring to.
