I sell on eBay and I buy a lot of inventory, bubble mailers, tape and other supplies from eBay itself plus around the US from other wholesalers . Of course all this from eBay is in "one" excel file that I can download from eBay. Can I just claim all this under Inventory / Cost of goods sold?

You said, "I'm not following you on this. I personally consider all this as inventory and hold quite a bit of the bubble mailers, bubble pouches and bunches of different small clear bags here. This way I can assemble all my different electronic kits."
Unless you keep an inventory, that is purchases you made for resale or manufacturing, you would not include shipping supplies as part of your cost of goods sold. The only other way this would be inventory would be if you actually sold the bubble mailers as your business.
No, not unless you actually keep an inventory. Include them as supplies.
I'm not following you on this. I personally consider all this as inventory and hold quite a bit of the bubble mailers, bubble pouches and bunches of different small clear bags here. This way I can assemble all my different electronic kits.
So I would have separate items in each type of clear bag then placed all into a larger clear bag. Then that kit is then inserted into the pink bubble envelopes to produce one kit. Once the kit is done I insert said kit into a bubble mailer and off it goes.
So I just want to clarify my process in case it makes any difference.
Does it? TIA

Thank you for that clarification Coleen!
