CA Form 568 for Single Member LLC

Hello,

I'm using Turbo Tax Self employed (online version) to file my taxes.  I have a single member LLC in CA.  Do I need to mail the CA 568 form separately or does Turbo Tax include this form while e-filing?  Until last year (2019 tax year), I had to mail CA 568 and Turbo Tax displayed instructions in the PDF summary that was generated.

But for this year (2020 tax year), it didn't include any summary in the PDF and didn't alert me about mailing the 568 form.  So, wondering if it was e-filed or not?  Does anyone know?

Thanks,

Shoba

In 2020, you will be able to electronically file your Form 568 when you file your personal income tax return as long as you only have one Form 568.

If you have multiple Form 568 forms, you will not be able to electronically file using the program.

Thank you so much for the response!

When would we file multiple 568 forms?  Is it done when we have multiple LLCs in CA?

I use TT Home & Business and there was no form CA 568 filled out or available to efile with the 2020 or the 2021 versions.  How can you provide a Home and Business product that does not provide efile capabilities when it is required by CA.  Now I need to file the CA 568 forms by mail and perhaps pay a penalty because I believed they were efiled with my return.
