UPDATE:
Software updated today Thursday Feb 27th.
The NEEDS REVIEW is still there!!.
This is pathetic imo.
Per the start date of this thread, it's a known issue for 4 weeks now, affecting MULTIPLE users, and Turbo Tax hasn't fixed it yet?
I am having the same issue and it is not completing the forms correctly - can turbo tax please reply when this will be fixed?
@pet2020 could you elaborate on " it is not completing the forms correctly"
Same issue as of March 1. Just installed and up to date.
I've covered everything in the section, but still says "Needs review" next to Business Income and Expenses - Profit or Loss from Business.
Final check all checks out, but still hate not seeing the $number.
This experience has been reported to our development team and should be resolved with the update scheduled for Friday March 7, 2025. Because updates are released after business hours Pacific time, we recommend waiting until the day after to run Review again.
Note that TurboTax Online is automatically updated after midnight on form release dates. TurboTax for Desktop is updated when you first open the program.
Wishing I kept track of how much time I've wasted due to this problem. Was ready to pay the $60 for help then I was finally smart enough to do this search. Not MY problem. Ridiculous. Turbo Tax since 2007. I see commercials about how easy it is to transfer to H&R Block and wonder why someone would want to. Maybe I've found a reason.
Just ran todays update and this issue appears to be cleared.
I agree. This appears to be fixed as of today.
Using TurboTax Home and Business 2024 for PC with today's (March 6) updates applied.
Now, please fix the "needs review" issue for Job-related Expenses as that is still broken. There is a separate topic for that one. Apparently, that one hasn't made it to the bug report list.
It's fixed with today's update.
Finally no " Needs Review."
Thank you, Thank you.
Whew!
Confirmed. Fixed.
Thanks you!
@Jenndy43 I went through the general business credit (i didn't have any credit available), but the form 3800 was no longer generated for me. How about on your end?
