Turbo Tax expert employees seem to have disappeared!
Can you maybe (at your convenience) make a new post with screenshots? I'm the worst at screenshotting and copying and pasting here, for some reason it's not allowing me.

I understand that you folks have an issue with Form 3800 and my concern is not about that, but the problem I am having is sooo similar. Since I just finished reading your thread, I will post it here since TT support is on this link. Maybe there is a clue in here, or I will start a new thread.
I am also using TT Home and Business. I also have check boxes that do not stay checked. I have compared the forms from last year's TT and they are filled out in the same way as this year's, only the numbers change. My software is up to date. My return passes all of the TT reviews even with this flag. So, I would like this fixed also.

Form 3800 was updated and the DO NOT FILE on the Form in the Forms section has disappeared so turns out that's not the issue.
The NEEDS REVIEW is still there, for many of us in the Business Income section.
From what I've read on this thread, people have passed the final check, accuracy test at the end, yet in the Business Income section, Profit and Loss, the NEEDS REVIEW is still there.
This "Needs Review" issue is a Turbo Tax bug in the software, which they need to fix.
I'm not sure TT support is on this thread anymore. If you start a new one, I'll follow you there!

Can you please escalate this issue to Turbo Tax? Many users are having this issue.
A lot of us here are ready to file but we keep getting NEEDS REVIEW per the original poster! Have done multiple checks, software updates, cookie deletes yada yada . Everything!
FINAL REVIEW says everything is correct and ready to file but keep getting NEEDS REVIEW in that one section per below.

Click on Business... Edit>
Everything pertaining to business income, cog, expenses, etc.........
Nothing is marked 'Needs Review.'
Why is it still needing review when there is nothing highlighted?
Just updated the forms. Still says, 'Needs review.'
My observations:
1. In the Step by Step, I've noticed if you put in zero income in BUSINESS INCOME, the Needs Review disappears but once you put in ANY income, the Needs Review appears again
2. In the Step by Step Business Income Section, the 1099 MISC Income, when it asks if you received any 1099 MISC Forms, it is not allowing a NO. When You put in a NO, it reverts to a YES! Even though the NO from 2023 is carried forward, it just won't allow a NO for this 2024 tax season? I'm not sure if that's the issue but it should be fixed for next years taxes so it's carried forward correctly.
The Final review accuracy test at the end shows no errors.
Ready to file but don't want file with a NEEDS review message.

For this kinda massive impact issue, no matter whether it is a cosmetic one or functional one, in my company, the turnaround time is within 2 days, in other words, must be addressed within two days. However, in turbotax, it has been there for one month.
I know you all have been so frustrated with this Need Review issue. I’m not saying this is the answer but since I was on this thread I thought I’d let you know that after updating TT and doing a final review, I called the tax consultant line (I paid extra for the service) to ask an unrelated question I asked her about the Needs Review and she was aware of it and said to go ahead and file that it wouldn’t affect the tax filing as it was an easy step software bug. So, I bit the bullet, after buying the TT extra audit protection and filed - it was accepted by both Fed and State. I know that there still could be an issue, but I was willing to risk it.
Once again, thats just how I dealt with it and may not be right in your situation. I have to say (I know I’m preaching to the choir) that this year I feel like I spent more time with TT issues than actually preparing my taxes. Oh, and one other thing you may run into to add insult to injury, the print function is not working. I went to print my tax returns as I save them as PDF in the print dialog, and it starts and stops without printing. I called support and they told me it was a known issue and they would let me know when fixed. We’ll see.
I’ve spent 26 years in the software industry and Intuit was perennially considered top in class for quality and usability. How the mighty seem to have fallen. I feel for the support staff, because they typically take the ‘heat’ when this software quality drops. The alternative to TT however isn’t very attractive, so here we are between a rock (crazy complicated tax laws) and a hard place (TT). Sigh.
Yep, very frustrating. I'll probably do their one more software update and if it isn't solved, I'll just file.
I'm a long term TT user but this has been ridiculous, especially since it's a known problem for weeks now, affecting many of us.
Next year I'll look for another tax program.
Thanks for your post. Agree. I'm going to do one more of their updates, I think they update every Friday, and if Needs review isn't fixed. I'll probably file.
I'm a long term TT user however I'll be looking at other software next year. This is all unacceptable based on fact it's been weeks TT has been notified of this issue which is clearly affecting multiple people and Tax season has barely started.
