Check Forms Mode and see where the $6815 was input. It had to come from user input.
@tagteam I was in forms mode, right clicked and selected data source. It directed me to form 1125e line 4, which is blank. Any other ideas of where I can find this? Trying to get a mortgage loan and they need this number explained.
How and where in the program did you enter this figure ($6815)?
Form 1125-E is for compensation of officers. If you entered this figure in the wrong box, it won't appear on Form 1125-E.
I cannot find that figure entered anywhere in the tax return, hence the mystery.
Check this section:
There was no compensation of officers. I am not taking a salary at this time. I do pay myself rent and storage for use of space allocated to the business only, but those numbers do not match. I do pay salary to an employee, but she is not an officer and none of the entries related to her salary match that number. I am really not able to figure this number out.
I just followed your instructions. It shows my employees salary, which is listed on line 8 of the form, but does not include the 6815 from line 7.
officer and shareholder fields are blank. All other employees show the figure from line 8 only.
I found it. It is my employees benefit. The difference between her gross and net compensation.
