Working my way through my late mom's estate return last night.
Was adding information from the 1099-INT I received for her. Box 10 was ZERO. TT would NOT let me have that as ZERO. Kept giving an error and would NOT let me e-file.
As it turns out, I had checked the box earlier for NOT providing my SSN as the executor/return preparer, but I had populated the SSN field and didn't blank it out. Once I did that the error about Box 10 above went away and I was able to e-file.
VERY STRANGE.

Not supposed to be less than zero OR equal to zero.
Not supposed to be less than zero OR equal to zero.
the form I received from TD Ameritrade has ZERO in the box. I'm not going to dispute that, so in my case it HAS to be ZERO. Box 1 of that same form only has 64cents.
