QBI Rental Real Estate Safe Harbor Statement requires print and mail filing? Will there be an update to allow efile?

I am about to file my 2020 return and have several rental properties for which I have claimed the QBI Safe Harbor.  This selection (individually or enterprise) seems to require a print and mail filing of the return.  I prefer to efile.  My question:  Will there be an update to the 2020 Home and Business TT that will allow efiling of a return with the QBI Real Estate Safe Harbor election or do I just need to go ahead and print this thing out and file it by postal mail service?  If I have to print and mail it will be a big disappointment for this 20+ year user of TurboTax (personal and corporate), Quicken and Quickbooks.

There is not currently a way to attach a statement to a TurboTax return to be efiled.

If  an attachment is required, the return will need to be printed and mailed.

I understand that there is no way currently, but is this functionality being added to any near-term updates to the software?  Something like the ability to sign, scan and attach the 8453S form in the corporate tax software?  This functionality does not seem like it would be that difficult to add as it already exists.
