IT-20S Part 4 - State Modifications

This pertains to IT-20S/IT-65, 2024 Schedule IN K-1. 

 

In Part 4 - State Modifications, on lines 5 through 7 Addback/Deduction, the software is requiring a positive integer, despite the form's instructions specifically stating "(Use a minus sign to denote negative amounts.)" How can a negative number be inserted here?
