To determine if a partnership (or multi-member LLC) business is required to file a return, consider if the business has any income or expenses to report. If it does, it should file it's return, form 1065 and provide a schedule K-1 to each owner.  If it doesn't then there's no need to file a return.

If you received a schedule K-1 (1065), then it's required to report it with your personal return. Alternatively, if you need to file a business form 1065 return, you would need the TurboTax Business software, which is separate from personal tax editions of the software.
