@ e_ripp asked: "I'm unable to access my 1040 Schedule E for editing. I can edit all other forms without issue. Anyone else having trouble with the Schedule E?"
We don't know what exactly you are wanting to edit on Schedule E. And it's not clear what you mean by "unable to access" the Schedule E. Underneath your question is says you are using "Online Premier". In the Online editions you cannot directly edit any form, since there is no Forms Mode.
Or did you indicate the wrong product when you asked this question? Are you instead using desktop software (CD/download) and referring to editing forms in Forms Mode?
If so, in the desktop product you cannot directly edit Schedule E in Forms Mode. You make any direct edits on the Schedule E Worksheet, which then flows to Schedule E.
NOTE: You have to be careful when making direct entries/edits in Forms Mode. There are sometimes complex interactions between forms and worksheets. Normally it's best to make entries/edits in the interview Step-by-Step Mode unless it's a simple edit, in which case Forms Mode can be handy. Forms Mode is also handy for troubleshooting.
If it turns out that you are indeed using Online TurboTax, we can tell you how to edit the information that flows to Schedule E once you clarify.
I'm also having trouble modifying the responses to Schedule E. I'm using the online software and just prior to filing I was prompted to enter the City for one of my properties (I have three). I couldn't tell which Property it was referring to so I guessed and now I have incorrect information on Schedule E. Does anyone know how to modify the City and Zip code information on this form?

I'll assume these are rental properties as opposed to royalty properties. Here's how to edit the address for a rental property prior to filing. If you don't know which property it changed, you may have to look at all three.
Thank you!

You're welcome. I hope it got you to where you needed. Good luck.
I am simply attempting to edit the information I had already entered under “Wages and Income” section, subsection “Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E)” of my federal form 1040 in turbotax premier, on-line version. When I select “Edit/Add”, I’m left with only the spinning blue comet chasing its tail - I cannot get to the next screen that shows me a summary of rental properties.

The steps I left above for user "mortonssalt2010" are the steps I assume you are using, but it sounds like you are encountering a browser problem with continued spinning after clicking Edit/Add. Try these things:
Log out of TurboTax and empty your browser cache.
Close the browser and reopen it.
Go to Online TurboTax, log in, and try again.
If the same problem recurs, log out and empty your browser cache again.
Close and reopen the browser.
This time open a private window (private browsing aka incognito mode) before logging in.
Go to Online TurboTax in the private window and log in.
If problem recurs, do you have another browser to try?
Thank you for the quick assist. I did both procedures through Safari but the problem persists - When I select “Edit/Add”, I’m left with only the spinning blue comet chasing its tail - I cannot get to the next screen that shows me a summary of rental properties.
The problem is only present in this particular section (Rental Properties and Royalties) of "Wages and Income". I'm able to access and edit information in other sections without problems.
No, I don't currently run any other browsers.

What are you running Safari on--are you using a computer or a portable device like an iPad or iPhone?
If a computer, I suspect you're using a Mac.
Any browser extension such as a script blocker or ad blocker?
I don't use a Mac, but I'll ask someone who may be able to comment on Safari when they are next in the forum.
@macuser_22 Do you have a suggestion for someone using Safari and encountering a constantly spinning icon when trying to edit the Rental/Royalty Schedule E section? The rest of the site functions OK for him. Thanks!
Thank you once again for the quick assist.
I'm running v 14.0 Safari on current generation MacBook Pro; no browser extensions.
I was finally able to edit information I had previously entered into the Schedule E.
I re-did your procedure (log-our of myturbotax and empty browser cache). I also selected "disable extensions" through Safari preferences and then re-entered myturbotax via google search. I don't know if any of the latter actions made a difference, but I'm in now!
Thank you once again for all of your assistance!

You're welcome. Great news! That's why I mentioned browser extensions above. They can sometimes cause quirky browser behavior, especially script blockers and ad blockers. I'm glad you were now able to proceed to edit. Good luck.
I heard there are 70 other customers that are having the same problem. They gave me a trouble report.
it is: INV-10043
Every time I try and hit the add/edit button for rental and royalty income, the system kicks back a "we hit a snag" alert and to repeats "try back later"
it won't allow me to edit my previous year's rental properties. Obviously, the income and expenses of those properties need to be changed from their 2019 levels, to 2020 amounts...rents and expenses change from year to year.
