I have login to the turbo tax website and I wanted to do me taxes this year and I a purchase code do I have to use it for my taxes

we don't know anything about your tax situation.  there is a free edition.  

use this wbsite to check to see which version you'll need.  if a choose a cheaper version than required TT will tell you you need to upgrade

Did you buy the US  downloaded or CD version and now want to use the online version instead ?

Or are you using the Canadian version ?
