How do I delete duplicate dividends from my schedule of 1099-DIVS? The delete key doesn't seem to have any effect.

The same information from my broker's 1099 is being imported twice.   Help!

If you have duplicate Form 1099-DIV's then delete the duplicate form.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

are you sure it's being reported twice? many types of dividends are reported on multiple lines on the 1099-Div because they have special tax characteristics.  if unsure make life simple there should be on the file tab a link to remove selected imported data.. then enter the 1099-DIV manually.
