Hi, my 2022 schedule E does not have depreciation. I looked on my data with TurboTax and I added the asset which as deprecation on it, but it’s not showing up on the form

If you are certain your 2022 tax return has no depreciation expense you can amend it. The final date for amending that return is April 15, 2026. Be sure to review the instructions before you begin so that TurboTax knows the original numbers and the corrected ones.

As far as 2024, you can file it correctly without waiting to file the amendment for 2022. Double check the date placed in service when amending, and use the correct date for 2024. TurboTax will calculate the accurate depreciation for 2024. There's no reason to wait or file it late.
