Help with Personal info. question #2

I am a Government Employee who was transferred from Hawaii to an Army Base in South Korea.  Do I claim foreign or US Possession or Hawaii for question #2.  I own property in Hawaii and it is my State of Record.

No I am a civilian government employee

It depends but if you consider HI your permanent state of residence and are only on temporary assignment outside the country, then select HI as your state of residence.

However, if you made a permanent move outside the country and will not be returning to HI, then select Foreign or US Possession as your state of residence.
