Hello - Can anyone tell me what line 16 asking me for? It says the EIP, but EIP 1 is entered in line 15, and EIP 2 is entered in line 18. What is line 16 asking me for?

On the Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet, the EIP1 that you received is reported on Line 16 and EIP 2 is reported on Line 19.

Line 15 is automatically calculated by TurboTax and represents the amount you qualify for payment #1.   If the payment you received (line 16) is less than that, you get the Recovery Rebate for the difference.

With payment #2, TurboTax determines what you qualify for on Line 18 and you enter what you received on Line 19.  The difference is added to the Recovery Rebate Credit amount.

The total of your Recovery Rebate on Line 21 of the worksheet moves to Line 30 of your Form 1040.    Are you getting an error when you review your tax return?
