First year RMD taken

I turned 73 in October 2024 and took my first RMD in November of 2024. So my taxes for RMD have been paid. I am confused on turbo Tax when its ask if required to take rmd by 12/31/24. If it's  first year don"t include the required  Amount. Should I leave that empty?

First year RMD taken

Yes, you can leave it empty.   If you reach age 73 in 2024, your first RMD is due by April 1, 2025, based on your account balance on December 31, 2023, and your second RMD is due by December 31, 2025, based on your account balance on December 31, 2024.  TurboTax uses the 12/31/24 for RMDs in general, which does not apply to the first year of RMD.
