I opened my TurboTax 2021 Premier yesterday to continue working on my 2021 tax and was told I needed to update. So I did and it stalled after a few minutes. I tried several times and it got stuck at the same area. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and I got even more problems. I recovered my computer to the state before my uninstalling TurboTax, then I tried again to uninstall and reinstall and this time it worked!
I then tried to enter my 2021 tax file and it gave me an error code 190. According to TurboTax help on the internet it says I should open a mock return and install the state. I did, and it tries to charge me $45 for the state even though I am trying to install the same CA state which I downloaded earlier before any of these problems occur.
