I did this for my UT tax form 1099-MISC, and it removed the error that was being given.
If your employer's state ID is not 14 digits, you have three options:
Beginning with the given Employee ID,
UT id is [phone number removed]WTH. this IS 14 digits and it is the correct one according to the State and the IRS. Is this a Turbo Tax issue alone.
I noticed the program on the W2 portion allows all 14 numbers/letters to be input and shown in the box.
However when you input it inside the 1099-R portion it will only show the numbers. The WTH is not seen unless you arrow over.
This is a Software issue for some downloads or for all ?
