EIN sole proprietor

Hi ,

 i got my ein as a sole proprietor for wholesale agent/broker , can i change it to RETAIL  without requesting a new ein  ???

you ein isn't tied to a specific business code....you can change the code to one for retail.

No.  You do not have to contact anyone.

Attached are the instructions for Schedule C.  Beginning on page C17 are the codes for various activities.  Just use the appropriate code when completing your Schedule C.

Ok,  i forget to mention that i'm not a us citizen

So may i have to fill both schedule c and 1040nr or just the 1040nr  ??  I'm loss ! 

Because if i fill just the 1040nr there is no place where i can put the code of the activity .
