I’m a resident of Hawaii and wondering if I need a business tax ID number or no because I don’t pay anyone below me

No, you can use your SSN to claim the income as a Rodan and Fields consultant on your personal tax return.
This is helpful! Only, I didn't seem to have the option to use my SSN (see below), so I had to look up the EIN for Rodan + Fields. In my situation, not only do I not have anyone working under me, but I didn't receive any income from R+R, nor did I even receive a 1099, so...I really struggled when inputting this part of my Turbo Tax Return this year. It was confusing. :o(
Agreeing with @CarolynM , you report all your income and expenses with this business ( R & F consultant ) on schedule _C as part of your individual 1040 return.
I wonder though what you mean by "didn't receive any income from R+R" - if no income and no expense, then why are you wondering about business id and 1099-misc? what am I missing here?
