I a deduction on my 2017 return just submitted. I t is the full amount of my Medicare Supplement insurance. I have visited other sites after the fact and one of them indicated the deduction should be in my case should be 10% of the AGI.
I don't know if the Turbo Tax system these factors into account.

What the other sites are most likely referring to is that only your Medical Expenses in Excess of 7.5% of your AGI can be deducted on your Schedule A. (Last year it was 10% of AGI)
TurboTax automatically does the 7.5% of AGI calculation and reduces your deduction accordingly.
