If a business owner gave away a promotional gift (e.g., a gift card, merchandise, etc) to drive business (requiring the applicants of the giveaway to like, share, subscribe, etc. to our page or something like that), is this deductible?<BR /></P>

sorry. Yes that’s what I meant. It was a sweepstakes to give away a cash prize. We sell items to participate but no purchase is necessary to enter. We have several different ways to enter including just filling out a form
