You can enter your hardware and software expenses under Office Expense or Assets.
Open your return.
In the Search box, type Schedule C.
Click on “Jump to Schedule C”.
You will see your Self-Employee Work Summary, Click onReview.
Click on Looks Good, until you get to OK. Let’s get the deductions unique to your business.
Click on Continue.
On the screen that asks “What kind of expenses did you have? Scroll down to Assets and/or Office Expenses, check the boxes. Click on Continue. And then Start next to the appropriate expense and enter your information.
