I sold a rental property ( not residence) on 02/19, I was sued by buyer on 03/19,for property lost because pipe bursting during selling process, reason why a did claim to my hazard insurance (post selling) case concluded on 11/24/20  i had to pay to buyer $45,000, the $25,000 insurance paid me plus an additional $20,000. Can i amend 2019 taxes, obviously I did not claim because case ended in 2020
