What did the IRS change on your tax return?  For what tax year?  And what did TT do that was inaccurate?

LOL ... it doesn't work that way ... just getting contacted by the IRS does not mean the program did something wrong.   So what did the IRS contact you about ?

Nobody is "bullying" you.  You don't seem to understand what the accuracy guarantee is.  TurboTax guarantees the accuracy of it's *calculations*, not the accuracy of your tax return which depends on the accuracy of the information that *you* enter.  In other words, if you enter 2 and 2 and TurboTax calculated 5, instead of 4, that would be covered, but if you entered 2 and 3 when you should have enter 2 and 2,  and TurboTax correctly calculated 5, that would not be covered since the error was yours.

We cannot help you to answer the IRS unless you tell us exactly what they said was wrong.  In almost all cases it is because of a data entry error and not a calculation error.

"I do not answer questions."  This is the public user forum.  We are other users.  We often must ask questions in order to clarify an issue in order to help.  No one is "bullying" you.  But if you do not want to engage in getting help here, then use the links given to you below.  Customer Support will have questions to determine whether you made a user error or if TT made a calculation error.

Any calculation errors on the part of TurboTax are covered under the Accurate Calculation Guarantee.  TurboTax will pay any penalties and/or interest due to a calculation error but not any taxes owed.  The Guarantee does not cover any user entry errors or omissions.

What is your "Maximum Refund (or Tax Savings) Guarantee or Your Money Back" all about?

Simply put, our Maximum Refund (or Tax Savings) Guarantee says that if you get a bigger tax refund (or owe less taxes) through another tax preparation method, we'll refund the purchase price you paid for TurboTax.

As with any guarantee, there are stipulations — for example, you have to notify us within 60 days of filing your return in TurboTax, and your return must be identical to the return prepared using the other tax-prep method.

You can read the fine print at the Intuit Software End User License Agreement. Type "maximum refund" in the Find feature in your browser (usually listed under Edit) to go to it quickly.
