Need to amend 2016 -- number on wrong line - can I correct inside turbo tax or must I re key?

You may need to clarify what you are trying to amend here but you should be able to correct whatever you need inside of TurboTax during the amendment process.  When you amend, you will be given the option to revisit all of the same sections that you originally entered and you can make corrections.
