I accidentally added the same w2 twice and it messed with my return even tho i deleted it once i realized i made a mistake will i get it back it was about 300 dollars?

i realized i had put the same w2 in twice but removed it it said i had already submitted my taxes but i hadn't done anything but check my return and made sure everything was in check and i realized i had put it twice but it still took 300 dollars off my return i tried clearing the information and starting again but it said i had already filed and couldn't change anything when i didn't file anything yet

You may have added the W-2 after you had already e-filed. In which case, return to the Wages & Income section and delete the W-2 to restore your return it to its original state when you e-filed. If you added the W-2 after you filed, adding the W-2 again will not change your original e-file submission.

If you have already submitted your return for filing, it may be in Pending status in TurboTax. If your return is rejected by the IRS, you will be able to open the return in TurboTax and make changes and re-submit to e-file. If your return is accepted and it is accurate, you will not need to do anything further. However, if you do need to make changes, you will need to amend your return. Below is more information about amended returns.
