I E-filed my adult son's taxes. He gave me the wrong drivers lic number. was going mail them. How do I amend the return with the correct number

You do not want to amend the return until after the IRS has processed the return.  More than likely the return will be rejected or you will be asked to verify information.  You can find the instructions below.

You do not want to amend the return until after the IRS has processed the return.  More than likely the return will be rejected or you will be asked to verify information.  You can find the instructions below.
