TT Answers say I don't qualify for Qualified Business Income Deduction. Now in reviewing return TT says I get the deduction. How to be sure it's not included in return?

TT Answers say I don't qualify for Qualified Business Income Deduction. Now in reviewing return TT says I get the deduction. How to be sure it's not included in return?
You can preview your 1040 form and see if there is an Qualified Business Income deduction amount reported on Line 9 of your 1040 form. See the link below for steps to preview your 1040.
If you have already paid for your software, another option is that you can print your return and review the supporting schedules and see if the QBI deduction was calculated.
Note that all self-employed or pass through entity business owners (except for certain passive rental property owners) are eligible for the deduction if their taxable income is under the first thresholds of $157,000 single or $315,000 joint. The limitation of Specified Service Trade or Business (SSTB) entities does not come into play unless your taxable income is above those first threshold levels.
