I have already filed our tax return online, but because of some changes I no longer have access to the bank account I chose for our direct deposit

If I cannit update the bank account information, what options do I have to stop our return from being put into the wrong accout?

You can call the IRS at 800-829-1040 and ask them to stop the direct deposit and send a paper check in the mail instead. See the following link on the IRS web site for more information.
