I owed taxes for 2016. was this paid in my bill or do I have to send a check

My return indicated I owed a certain amount, very small.  I assumed that was included in my payment for the service.   Do I still have to send a check for the amount to IRS or waws this done already?

Yes, you still need to send payment to the IRS. You can also send your payment electronically through the IRS website www.irs.gov/payments.
