Year 2021 amending returns for two different states?

I was a part time resident in Kentucky and part time resident in Indiana. I moved out of Kentucky in early 2021. I filed both states returns along with federal returns. All 3 has been accepted. I just realized I forgot to add another W2 for state Indiana.

I would needs to amend both Federal and State Indiana returns. But do I still needs to amend Kentucky returns due to this?

Yes you will need to amend Kentucky as well. Kentucky uses federal income as a starting point, so if your federal income changes, your Kentucky refund/balance due may change as well.

If you amend Kentucky and TurboTax says you are not getting an additional refund or have to pay additional tax, then you don't have to FILE your amended Kentucky return. However you should prepare one just in case.
