What does it mean on the irs website about Tax Topic 152?

About the Tax Topic 152 so I called IRS and they told me my refund is under review that I have to wait 30 days for a IRS letter to let me know whats the problem. I think this is bullcrap!

What is a transcript?

Go online <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.irs.gov">www.irs.gov</a> get transcript ..set up an account by answering basic questions about yourself and your taxes..and order transcript online ..and see what it says .. mines gave me a ddd date..

I got a transcript but I don’t understand it at all??!!!! How do you know if you got a DDD?

I attempted to order a transcript but it would not allow me.

The DDD is only on your account at the bottom of the paper not your Transcripts. The 152 code just simply means you did direct deposit for your refund.

If you have to verify you can not just walk in the office or call you have to wait until you receive the letter with the control number to call. If you can’t verify over phone you have to schedule a appointment to go in.

I called an was told I have to wait 3-4 weeks I had tax topic 152. They had mentioned it was over estimated for amount back from the ATIC on my return.
