Will IRS accept a copy of W-2

I prepared my daughter's 1040 and SC state return and mailed it to her for her signature. The post office never delivered the mail to her and we assume it is lost. The original W-2 was attached to the 1040 and state return. I have printed out new returns but only have a copy of the W-2 which I will attach to the returns. Will the IRS and state accept the W-2 copy?

Yes, you can send a copy. Many companies don't even mail paper W-2s anymore, and employees just download and print them out.

i sent in a 2020 copy of my taxes.  how long will it take to get my refund?

It is impossible to tell.  The IRS is still processing returns from 2020, and also working on the 2021 returns.  If you recently mailed your 2020 return, you can expect it to be a few months until it is processed, especially if it is at all complicated.
