Why would CA state return still show as pending after 2 days?

Ok so this is definitely a turbo tax issue then with our CA state refunds (possibly other states from the looks of it as well). Did you file early as well?

It has to be Turbo tax.  The State will receive it within minutes.  My sister filed hers yesterday using Turbo Tax and everything went fine.  It seems that it happened to whoever filed before the 15th.  There must be an error on the transmission part of it.  They need to fix this asap.

I filed both fed and state tax on 2/12, the first day fed accepting 2020 tax.

I believe this is it right here. My good friend filed his on the 15th as well, was accepted by IRS first then california state return was about 30 minutes later.

I just got off the phone with turbotax support, nice guy, but no help. He was chatting with level 2 support internal to them and the guy was telling me it is sent on their end. Yet i check the FTB site and still nothing received. The support rep on the phone was as frustrated as me.

Sent an email to the Execs hoping to get a response.

Filed on 2-4-21 State still pending like many. Have been using turbo tax for well over 10 years, never had this issue.

Same here.  Federal accepted within hours.  CA State still shows pending.  Called TurboTax and couldn't get a live person.  Stumped as to what to do.  Hoping that if more people complain on this forum, TurboTax will recognize and fix.

Everyone needs to email the CEO and VPs. This way they are aware of the many that have filed before the 15th and having this issue. Maybe they will get tired of getting their inbox full that they will do something about it.

I also filed a few days before 2/12. My Fed return was accepted on the 14th while CA state tax efile is still pending. Definitely looks like a TurboTax issue and I wish they address this soon.

I would like Turbotax to be transparent about the issue, even if they made a mistake kick it back to us, let us correct the form and file it again. Keeping people in the dark in this day and age where people are depending on their returns is bad PR for them.

My ca state is also pending efiled 2/12/21. Friend filed 2/17/21 accepted within hours! Something is not right!
