Why haven’t I been approved yet? My taxes were filed on 1/23 and they have still not been approved.

Earned Income Credit

Someone told me and I am pretty sure i read that they are not giving out refunds to those with the child credit until after the 22nd. But does that keep it from getting approved? I feel like something is wrong. Although I did already receive my refund advance

Taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit will experience a processing hold. The Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
