WHY HASN"T MY RETURN BEEN ACCEPTED YET?

I filed my taxes on the 24th and they still haven"t been accepted by the IRS.  They were to start accepting efile today.  What is the hold-up?

Your tax returns will remain Pending until the IRS starts receiving tax returns. It may be several days after the IRS start date before your tax return gets accepted or rejected.
